K-Logs, Project Management, and other Radio Userland Thoughts

by Bryan Strawser · Jul 22, 2002

My friend Kerri is fiddling with using Radio for project management and has emailed me some interesting ideas, I’ll post here if I get permission from her.  Her ideas flow right along with concepts that John Robb has espoused in his weblog and others have written about as well.

I’m really looking to find ways to extend my existing websites’s content into XML and thus make it available to users of Radio Userland and other RSS readers/aggregators.  I think this can be done fairly easily, I just need to spend some time learning enough about PHP’s XSLT and XML functions to make it work.

I’m also looking to find ways to extend the administrative side of my company into XML status reports, which can then be read and commented on via Radio Userland or other tools.  I think this would work quite well for project management and simplify some of the administrative overhead that I have presently.
