Hanging at Panera Bread in Watertown, MA this morning. Headed into the city fairly early, cruised around Chinatown for a bit dropping off some cargo, and then headed up to Watertown. Picnic for my team starts today, should be a blast.
Public Should Mean What It Says
I am still totally amazed that such a public event cannot be broadcast in most of the United States.
I, for one, would absolutely love to be able to watch oral arguments before the United States Supreme Court. Why not? After all, it’s a public event. Hiding it only makes it more mysterious than it already is.
Let Cameras in the Courtroom. Television cameras make it possible for the public to observe the justice system. New York’s law making it a crime to televise court proceedings should be struck down. [New York Times: Opinion]
