Too funny…

From 7/1797, a wonderful prank you can try in an elevator in your hometown. “A friend and I used to get on at different floors; when we were both on, one of us would say, ‘Anyone want to trade shirts?’ Then we’d exchange shirts and watch the reactions.”  [Scripting News]

Now this is interesting…

‘Survivor’ Judge Fuels an Ethics Debate –  Georgia Judge Paschal English was likable enough to become one of the final four contestants on the reality show “Survivor: Marquesas.” Now that he  is back on the bench, a question has come up as to whether judicial ethics canons prevent him from cashing in on his newfound celebrity status. [Law.com]  It’s nice to know that Reality TV is helping to forge new ground in the field of legal ethics.  [Ernie the Attorney]

He has a great idea.

He has a great idea.  I’d love to see more communication and interaction both amongst government and amongst government and citizens.

eGovernment is a great idea – to some extent Indiana was beginning this when I was still a resident of that state.  Massachusetts has put alot of services online recently – but I haven’t seen a CTO of a State yet come up with ideas like Windley has!

An Open Offer to Utah State IT Employees.

I believe that the 900 or so IT employees of the State of Utah would benefit from speaking and listening to each other more. I think we need groups of specialists inside various departments to communicate with others in their specialty and without.  Consequently, I’d like to see more people writing blogs and communicating their ideas through an open forum like the one blogs engender.  To that end, I’m willing to pay the licensing fee to Userland for the first 100 employees who start a blog.  [Windley’s Enterprise Computing Weblog]
