MRTG Fun! I spent the better part of last night and this evening wrestling with MRTG to get it to monitor the bandwidth of my servers, T-1, and the BayStack 350T switches. If I had only realized that /mrtg/bin/cfgmaker did the trick. Fun, eh?

Wire. Re-wire. Wire… House Lan
Wire. Re-wire. Wire… House Lan now moved over to new T-1 connection. The Rack has been rewired to accomodate CSU/DSU and Router. Moved UPSs higher in the rack to accomodate easier wiring. Loads of fun. Every try to lift an APC SmartUPS 1400 by yourself and screw it in. Ouch!
Moved over about 8 sites now to the new server here on my end of the T-1 (khazad-dum). Mail Greeting seems to be running fine. Probably will move everything except ezyads as I don’t feel like mucking with Sendmail just yet.
