Liberal shit. Michael Kinsley: “I didn’t do what I intended to do, which was to prove that the economy of the Internet made it possible for this kind of journalism to be self-supporting. I am sort of like Moses leading people to the edge of the Promised Land, but not all the way there.” Honest.

Flying. So here, I am,
Flying. So here, I am, sitting on Southwest Airlines flight 510 from Providence, RI to Baltimore, MD for a three day meeting where we’ll primarily be discussing where we’re headed in 2002 and what we need to do to get there. Departing at 8:30am required me to be up at 4:30am, on the road by 5:30am, at the airport by 6:00am, and 90 minutes later made it through security to the gate, to checkin again, and then wait in line to get on the plane. Now I’ve had three cups of coffee, we’re about to descent into Baltimore, and I need to pee.
As one of my peers and I were discussing this morning, as he was messing with the security line and checkin in Manchester, NH, why do we continually fly in on the morning of an afternoon meeting instead of just flying in the day before.
I guess I keep forgetting that when making travel arrangements. Shit, I could still be in bed if I had flown in the night before!
I do love Baltimore, though. Hope to catch some live music tonight at The Horse You Rode In On.
