Wahh, I’m not good enough yet.
Very nice scripting, gotta devote some time to this over the weekend.
Proof that a Radio weblog can look beautiful, and thanks for the kind words.

Spammers, Opt-In Lists, and More…
Spammers, Opt-In Lists, and More…
I got a kick out of this article at kuro5hin about the guy who responds to the spammer and then has the experienced linked below.
One of the opt-in mailing lists that I own sends out a joke newsletter three times weekly. It contains clear unsubscribe directions, and everyone on it has already opt-ed in to receive the emails.. however, I must receive at least 4-5 emails per thousand subscribers wondering why they’re getting email, accusing me of being a spammer, or just stating “REMOVE ME”.
Geesh, read the directions people, I made it easy, and I’m one of the good guys! I hate spam. Green eggs and ham, spam I am.
He who fights with spammers…. It started with a regular spam email. One of many I would receive that day. From: Harald Lenz To: mail1@winecellar.at Sent: Saturday, January 15, 2028 5:50 AM Subject: Winecellarconstruction Gruber We build classic vaulted cellars [kuro5hin.org]
Noam Chomsky I’ve always found
Noam Chomsky
I’ve always found him to be an interesting guy, someone who pushes the edge of things like Howard Zinn todays, and I enjoy reading his stuff.. but living in Boston has jaded me to the Intellectual Liberals. Not only are they unwilling to listen to the truths, they spout communistic shit like this.
Sure, we’re the terrorists. Give me a break.
Noam Chomsky. The nation’s most implacable critic of U.S. foreign policy argues that the war is unjust, America is the biggest terrorist state and intellectuals always support official violence. [Salon.com]
Radio Userland and Manila
Radio Userland and Manila
Now, this is seriously cool, but it doesn’t work! At least, I can’t get it to work.
I know, I know, it’s a beta.. I’m hugely impressed that it’s already out.. way to go Userland!
Beta: Manila-Blogger Bridge Tool. In a nutshell, it lets you mirror your Radio 8 weblog to any centralized CMS that supports the Blogger API. Today we tested with Manila, Blogger, and by surprise, found out that Movable Type already supports the API, and MBBT works with it too! Now there’s something to stand up and cheer about. It’s still a beta, I expect there will be updates, but if you’ve been waiting for this, please give it a try. Praise Murphy!

I have a horrendously sexy Compaq iPAQ 3735 that I love. I’ve been from a full size palm computer (HP 950 or something like that) to the Casio E-105 to a Palm Vx to a Palm m500, and now to the Casio. I can’t wait to see what’s next…
Handheld makers say good riddance to 2001. After an ugly 2001, handheld companies are jumping back into the competitive fray with new devices, expansion into new markets and incentives to software developers. [CNET News.com]
