Exercise

by Bryan Strawser · Aug 7, 2003

I worked out for twenty minutes this morning for the first time in two or three years. At least since before we moved into the house, so probably more like three years.

Felt good.

Now I have to get up tomorrow morning and do the same thing. Do it three or four days in a row and I should have a new habit. Wish me luck.

Mr. and Mrs. A.B. (“Butch”) Strawser, of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, are pleased to announce the arrival of Sadie and Katie. Sadie and Katie are recent additions to the Florida Strawsers. They join Bishop, a thirteen year old Beagle mix, who isn’t quite sure what to make of the new additions. Bishop is quite confident that if she ignores them, then they really don’t exist and will go away.

D-I-V-O-R-C-E

by Bryan Strawser · Jul 22, 2003

My younger brother’s divorce is final today. After about six months of fucking hell, he’s finally made it through everything.

Child custody is a complete bitch. Either act like an adult or give up living. His now ex-wife is going to make this an interesting ride, it appears. Thank god for aggressive attorneys.

I didn’t care much for Steve’s attorney when I worked in law enforcement, he was too critical and overly aggressive as a defense attorney. So naturally, he’s the first guy that I thought about when he needed an attorney to help him through his divorce and subsequent child custody bullshit.

Here’s hoping that things go better moving forward. I can still have hope….

And I fucking hate that Tammy Wynette song.
