Onward Voyager, Onward Voyager…

by Bryan Strawser · Aug 14, 2002

One of my first major projects in ‘Middle School’ (AKA 6th Grade) was a Independent Study of NASA.  I took a look at Pioneer 10 actually, and learned alot about this probe.

It’s pretty wild to me that now as I approach the age of thirty, that these suckers are still talking to us out there!

It’s the stuff of a great old “Star Trek” episode: the Voyager planetary probes just keep on trucking, and as they near the outer edge of the Solar System, they’re becoming — unintendedly — the first human-made interstellar vehicles. The New York Times’ John Noble Wilford’s paean to the Voyagers is great reading. [Scott Rosenberg’s Links & Comment]

Another Courtyard Morning…

by Bryan Strawser · Aug 14, 2002

Yet another Marriott Courtyard morning.  Headed to breakfast at 8 with my counterpart, we’re looking at different stores this morning though in Hartford, CT.

My air conditioner blew up at home.  Not a good thing.  Repair people hopefully come out this morning to examine it.

Kill, Kill, Murder, Murder…

Web Site Theft and what you can do – Good article on WebmasterBase on how you can protect your IP and your sites from theft. Not as satisfying as thrashing the ruffians that did it, but very useful information. [Matt Brown’s Dreamweaver Blog]
