Once I finish with the redesign of this blog – I am going to create a “backchannel” blog for more private posts.

There are things that I wish to write about that aren’t something that I want out in the public eye.

There’s been a couple here at the hotel that I’ve seen at the bar time to time with twin laptops – looking for a wireless connection.

Alas, our wireless, though great in our rooms, doesn’t always reach down to the bar / pool area – but hey, life has to be rough in some form here.

I wonder if they’re bloggers? I guess I should ask.

Life is rough here on St. Croix – I blogged from this location yesterday:

I have been using ecto as a blogging tool for the past two weeks – decided this morning to register it.

A great piece of software – and apparently there is now a windows version available as well. Get it now 🙂

Hey, just realized that I’ve been blogging for more than two years now. Cool!

i started off with Radio Userland – a great product, and later switched to Movable Type, another great product. Now I post mostly via Ecto to my movable type blog – a great combination that works well with my Apple Powerbook.

Here’s to a few more years of blogging!

I think I may have finally solved the problems I’ve been having with site-wide movable type rebuilds. Keep your fingers crossed!
