Interesting.  Weblogs covered the story

by Bryan Strawser · May 8, 2002

Interesting.  Weblogs covered the story of Pim Fortuyn’s death better than the major media.  It wasn’t even close.  Adam Curry’s weblog provided the best insight into what Pim stood for, why he was killed, and what his death means.  The major media, across the board (I read most of the articles the major pubs ran), failed to do the research they claim to do.  The articles were on the whole reflexive, opinionated, and just plain wrong.   Here is Adam’s take on the whole mess:  The Big Lie. [John Robb’s Radio Weblog]
