And so it should

by Bryan Strawser · Dec 30, 2003

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King continued its rule at the box office, raking in $US50.5 million ($A68.11 million) and leading a record-setting holiday weekend at the North American box office, according to new figures.

The third and final cinematic instalment of the JRR Tolkien novels has grossed $US222.2 million ($A299.7 million) since opening December 17, according to boxoffice trackers Exhibitor Relations.

The best movie I’ve seen in a long long time.

Sparse Blogging

by Bryan Strawser · Dec 30, 2003

Guess I’ve been quite lately.

Had family here for Christmas, did alot of baking.

Got some great books, DVDs, and tasty scotch.

I have played far far too much Day of Defeat.

Been reading a photoshop book.

Eaten out way too much.

Had a major ass waterleak in the house, that’s all fixed and repaired now.

Still have to patch up the ceiling, that will be an enjoyable project.

On vacation this week. Whee!

Progress

by Bryan Strawser · Dec 24, 2003

So we have credible intelligence about Al Qaeda pilots on Air France perhaps – MSNBC is reporting that France and US officials are seeking a specific individual who was to board a flight departing from Paris.

The Military has deployed anti-aircraft missiles around Washington and New York, and we have combat air patrols up.

It’s going to be an interesting Christmas. But we’re making progress.

Kitchens

by Bryan Strawser · Dec 24, 2003

When there are three women of German descent working in your kitchen making cookies, casserole, and other things, then I highly recommend that you sit in the other room and drink vodka.
