For some reason, it seems that I have one today.
Had difficulty going to sleep last night for absolutely no apparant reason. Woke up 2-3 times as well. The cat was the cause of at least one of those times. She purrs really loud at night.
This morning I felt sluggish and a bit non-responsive, which is rather unusual for me since switching to my current Diet earlier this year.
The drive in was one hour, fifteen minutes, about on pace. But we came to a complete stop in the middle of Route 24, which certainly isn’t normal at all.
Work was good, intense, but still felt like I was chasing myself most of the day. Yet, I got alot done. Very strange.
Anyways, time to head home (this is being posted in queue mode) and do some work there from my kitchen table.

Finally decided to change the name of my weblog from “there is some shit i will not eat” to “Bryan Strawser’s Weblog”.
Probably scared some people away with that old name!

Went and and installed the new look & feel for bryanstrawser.com as designed by my friend Mary at Aperio Technologies, Inc..
I love it!

Thanks for all the e-mails (there have been a huge number) of support for me as I recover from the outage at UserLand. The good news: lots of great things to come and this new location offers lots of new flexibility. The bad news: a huge number (probably over 30,000, not even counting Google) of inbound links have been broken, as well as nearly 500 RSS subscriptions. This proves the point: NEVER (under any circumstances) publish a weblog to a domain that you don’t control. I am currently using digital-crocus (they cost a mere ~$15 a year for fast hosting and have a great user interface that allows fast sub-domain creation). [John Robb’s Weblog]

Oh god, is this a pain in the ass. Anyone have any good references (besides the Movable Type Manual of course) to building templates for movable type?

Decided that i’d at least try out Movable Type. Went looking for a Radio Userland to Movable Type importer and was able to locate the wonder MTExporter, which did the trick quite easily.
Will mess with the templates a bit later on. So far, very happy. Doing posting and news aggregation with NetNewsWire and Movable Type.
